Where God

Real Life
Intersect.
Values, Vision, Vehicles...

Values:
In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus spelled out the primary role of the local church: to make disciples. That was the vision Jesus painted for His disciples just prior to His ascension into heaven before their very eyes.
Some people define "vision" with details, bullet points, graphs, charts, sign language, etc. At CrossRoads, we understand "vision" this way: the ultimate destination.
Therefore, our vision is wrapped around this one goal: To be a place...
Vehicles:
"Vehicles" is simply a term used to describe "by what means" CRC will carry out the values and vision God has clearly given us - His local church body.
The vehicles are very simple:
- All-Together Worship and Teaching
- Home Groups throughout East Tucson
That's it! Certainly, we have some major events throughout the year, but to keep us on track with God's vision, we consider the above three to be the "majors" and everything else to fall under one of them.
In Acts 2:42 & 47, the values for the local church (prayer, worship, evangelism, discipleship, ministry, and fellowship) are clearly laid out. Click here for details on each Biblical value, and how we at CRC trust and obey the Lord in each one.
What does that mean? That's where our "vehicles" come into play.
...where God and real life intersect.
